Amjad is a Syrian refugee who shared his experiences in our symposium in Athens.

In this first clip he speaks about himself, his family and his childhood in Syria.

Brought up in an ‘unremarkable’ way, Amjad was arrested because he participated in a demonstration. Amjad’s family is split today between three countries. “We are Muslims but the West must trust us“.
